Appellate Court Limits Grandmother's Visitation

In an opinion published June 20, 2011, the Minnesota Court of Appeals found in favor of Larkin Hoffman's client, overturning a lower court decision that gave the maternal grandmother of the client's son "unprecedented" expansive visitation privileges that interfered with his role as father. IN MEMORIAM: Jack F. Daly, Jr. 1930-2011

Jack resided in Minneapolis and Naples, Florida, where he passed on, surrounded by his family after an extended illness. Minnesota's Angel Tax Credit

Michael W. Schley in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development published a booklet on Minnesota's Angel Tax Credit. The Angel Tax Credit, which first became available in 2010, helps Minnesota businesses raise funding by giving their investors a refundable tax credit equal to 25% of their equity investment.
